God Show Me Your Way
He made known His ways [of righteousness and justice] to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. Psalms 103:7 [AMP]
Bible Reading: Exodus 33
Beyond presents, I desire God’s Presence. More than acts, I need God to show me His ways. This is because presents will fade away, acts may cease but God’s presence will remain forever. One of the people that enjoyed God’s presence was Moses. He encountered God in many dimensions. Although he was mightily used of God, Moses wanted more. He wanted God’s Presence. He desired to know God more. His hunger reached a certain point that he boldly asked to see God (Exodus 34). At this point, Moses has been walking with God with many evidences. In fact, the Bible described a time when Moses was in the tent to fellowship with the Lord, and a pillar of cloud descended signifying God’s Shekinah glory (Exodus 33:9). Moses spoke to God as a friend would to a friend. Yet, Moses needed more. One would imagine that Moses should have been satisfied with these acts but he wanted to know God’s ways. He earnestly desired God’s way so that he can manifest God’s glory. May our desire be like the psalmist, “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? Psalm 42:1-2 [KJV].
