Be Prepared To Meet Thy God

Whether you like it or not, eternity is real. Rapture will take place. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Jesus came to die for our redemption and He is coming back again. There is heaven and hell and God’s intention is for us to spend eternity with Him in heaven. We need to be prepared to meet our God when the trumpet shall sound because Jesus is coming for those who are prepared— not those who are preparing or who will prepare but those who are already prepared (Revelation 22). The reason why some will be rapturable and another will not is because of preparation. Preparation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ entails putting our spiritual house in order. It means being perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect. This starts by accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour and walking closely with Him everyday. The Holy Spirit is faithful if you are a genuine child of God, He will convict you of your sins. The story of the ten virgins is an example of two sets of people— the prepared and the unprepared. The prepared five virgins had oil in their lamps and had extra for later use. The unprepared five virgins had to look for oil and in the process missed the bridegroom (Matthew 25:1-13). Dear friends, we need to be ready for Jesus Christ Second Coming daily because no one knows the time when this will happen. Let us daily live our in righteousness unto God. If you are yet to give your life to Christ, today is not too late to do so. May God help us.

Daily Confession: Lord help me to surrender completely to you and make me rapturable in Jesus name.
