Eternal Life

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3 (NIV)

Bible Reading: John 14:5-7

We are ambassadors of Christ. This means representing Him in the exact way He wants to be represented. God’s kingdom advances when we present the Person of Christ Jesus to the world. When God’s kingdom progresses in our lives, we show for the love of Christ.

Continually, the world seems to be erasing the emblem that points to Person of Jesus Christ, the son of the Living God. We have to remember that first, the kingdom of God is in us. although many Christians perhaps out of desperation for solution and due to ignorance conform to a life pattern contrary to God’s plan. As Christians, when we preach the gospel to our friends, family members, fellow workers etc, we are to present the Person of Jesus Christ.This is because Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).

The world is afraid of the person of Christ Jesus because salvation comes only through Jesus. Just like Daniel, many people conspire against us so that we can be discouraged and stop calling the name of Jesus. The eternal life is this: that men may come to the true knowledge of Christ Jesus. There’s power in the name of Jesus. Every day, make it a point of duty to present the Person of Jesus Christ in your thoughts, through your words, and in your actions. Call on that name in any situation and you will be saved (Act. 4:12).

Self-Reflection: The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and they are safe. Proverb 18:10

Action Point: Employ the power in the name of Jesus over every situation.

Daily Confession: By the power in the name of Jesus, I bring to subjection every thought, plan and purpose of nations in obedience to Christ.

Intercessory prayer: Pray for the future of your children.
