Stay Plugged in God
But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life.(Jude 1:20-21, AMP)
Bible Reading: John 15:1-10
Happy New Month. I pray for God’s guidance and blessings over your life in Jesus’ name. As Christians, God is our Source and we have to be connected to Him at all times. We have the Holy Spirit, “the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.” (John 14:26, AMP). In our reading today, Jesus instructs us to abide in Him. He knows that the only way our battery can be recharged is by constantly staying plugged in Him. The Holy Spirit has been given to us and the more we invest time in building a relationship with Him, the more we are rooted in God. Dear friends, like an electronic gadget, we have to remain plugged into God. Spend quality time studying and meditating on God’s word. Pray without ceasing and continue to live for Him.
