Giver of Hope

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NIV)

Bible Reading: Romans 15:13

It is interesting how many scholars have agreed that we are at the end time – characterized by godlessness, chaos, disorder, corruption, lust, greed, and wanton destruction among others. In fact, we continue to search for hope for a different future. However, the more we search for it, the more it seems elusive because there is no hope without God for He is the giver of hope and life. Anyone who has Jesus Christ, has hope, joy and the peace of God that transcends all human understanding. We have hope not only about our existence here on earth but we have hope for eternity.

Dear friends, Jesus Christ is the giver of hope. So next time when you hear or watch news about the bizarre happenings in the world, pray that the light of the gospel of Christ may shine into this darkened world, and spread the gospel of Christ Jesus in deeds and in words. As children of God, we should be the source of hope to others because we should be carrier of God’s Presence. Let’s continue to live according to God’s leading and pray so that we can impact lives as God gives the grace.
