The Lord’s Word (VII)

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23:6

As we wrap up the series, ‘The Lord’s Word’, I would like to remind you that God will surprise us beyond our imagination this year because He said He will (1 Corinthians 2:9). We have to ask and expectant wait on him (Matthew 7:7-11). It is our year of unprecedented abundance, so expect the overflow of God’s blessings in your life. The last verse of Psalm 23 is a declaration. A confession that comes from the place of expectation and faith in God’s power to supply every need. King David writes, “surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life”. I cannot overemphasize the place confession as we journey in this year. God’s word is true so I encourage you to declare it loud and clear. Whatever the situation may be, speak God’s word to it. May God’s goodness and mercy be evident in your life this year in Jesus name.

Finally, determine to dwell in the house of the Lord this year. Seek Him wholeheartedly, love and fear Him and you will be blessed. If you are yet to give your life to Jesus, this is an invitation to you to accept Jesus Christ and see Him bring His word to pass in your life. God bless you in the journey of this year in Jesus name.

Action Point: Speak God’s word considering your life for the year 2024.
