The Revelation of Jesus
To open their [spiritual] eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness and release from their sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified (set apart, made holy) by faith in Me.’ Acts 26:18 (AMP)
Bible Reading: Romans 10:9-15
We have to pray for the salvation of others because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). May Jesus work through and in us so that His love can manifest through us. Pray for the revelation of Jesus; that the eyes of those who are yet to know Christ be opened so that they may turn from darkness to light.
As we pray, we need to preach the gospel of Jesus because “how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15, NLT). Dear friends, take evangelism seriously this year. If you want to grow in your walk with God, share the gospel of Jesus with others. Apart from the fact that you will be doing that which pleases the Father, you will experience growth spiritually. As from today, be intentional about sharing your faith both in season and out of season.
Daily Confession: I receive the boldness to share the gospel of Jesus.
Intercessory Prayer: Pray for your children for grace to be obedient first to God and to those the Lord places over them to guide and instruct them. Pray that the Lord will guide their mentors and teachers.
Hymn: Trust and obey
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
Than to trust and obey.
