Give Thanks to the Lord

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. (Psalm 150:6)

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 2

Last week at our weekly prayer meeting, we spent much time thanking God and appreciating Him for who He is. The same thing we did today. We felt the need to spend quality time recounting our blessings before the Lord. It seems we are always in a hurry to ask and leave, instead of taking the time to really thank God. We have every reason to thank God. First, adore God for who He is. Spend time to deeply reverence, honour and love Him. Secondly, confess his faithfulness, his love, his peace, his wisdom. Also, offer him thanksgiving for his miracles in your life. Thank Him for the ways He showed up in your life– whether its how you wanted it or not. Thank Him for everything. Spend quality time to praise God. Offer him the fruits of your lips because God is worthy. Count your blessings one by one and acknowledge God
