Bible Reading: Luke 19:1-10

It is never too late to start again in Christ. Many people came to know Jesus early in their lives, some in the middle and others at the very end. There are also those who are perpetual returnees– always giving their lives because of one sin or another. No matter where you are on the spectrum, and regardless of where you have been and what you have done in life, Jesus will by no means cast you away if you come to Him (John 6:37). We have an assurance in Jesus Christ that whenever we come to Him, He will not cast us away. Jesus, extending the invitation to anyone and everyone, says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). In our Bible reading today, Jesus visited Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus was a corrupt leader, and everyone knew it. He was far gone into this lifestyle, but that did not stop Jesus from accepting him into the fold. Jesus saw his desire to repent and change from his wicked ways. Dear friends, it is never too late to press the restart button in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Do not let the lie of the devil get to you that you are too late to start or restart with Jesus. The idea that your sins are irredeemable or unforgivable is not true. Come to Jesus today, and you can start afresh.
