Press the Start Button (II)

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will [a]by no means cast out.         (John 6:37, KJV)

Bible Reading: Habakkuk 2:3-4

Jesus transforms lives! A new life in Jesus helps us to re-evaluate our lives so that we can turn a new leaf where needed. For instance, when one reads God’s word, one is encouraged, or convicted of a wrong for a change because “All Scripture is God-breathed and. is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and. training in righteousness, so that the servant of God. may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (1 Timothy 3:16-17). In essence, the Holy Spirit inspires one to press the reset, start, or delete button where needed for God is at work in the lives of His children both to will and to do for God’s pleasure (Philippians 2:13). The question I invite you to reflect on today is that “at this point in your life, what is God asking you to press a start button on? For instance, is it about a particular vision you need to start pursuing? Dear friends, whatever you need to press a start button on, I encourage you to listen because starting is the hardest thing. Once you take the initial step, the battle is won.

Daily Confession: I receive the grace to start afresh where needed in my life in Jesus Christ.

Intercessory Prayer: Lord we pray for peace across different nations where there is turmoil in Jesus name.

Hymn: Take my life and let it be

consecrated, Lord, to thee.

take my moments and my days;

let them flow in endless praise,

let them flow in endless praise
