Revive Us Lord (III)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV

Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 2:19-22

When God revives His people, there’s a genuine desire to love the Lord, live in holiness, preach God’s word and show God’s love. There’s also an outpouring of His Spirit, unprecedented blessings, joy unspeakable and unimaginable grace. Amidst troubles and trials, there’s God’s manifest presence and peace. We need revival. Our churches, cities, counties and countries need revival because when we come to God, lost hope is restored. When revival comes, addictions to worldly pleasures stops and we are addicted to studying God’s word and prayerful life. The level of homelessness and poverty reduces because a life in and with God is sorted and restored. Dear friends, we need to call to the Lord for revival in our land because God says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV).

Daily Confession: Lord I pray for your revival in my city. Restore our desire to seek you in holiness and righteousness in Jesus name.

 Intercessory Prayer: Pray for someone today.

Hymn: Oh, how praying rests the weary!

Pray’r will change the night to day;

So when life seems dark and dreary,

Don’t forget to pray.
