Revive Us Lord (II)

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.       Hebrews 12:14

Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 2:19-22

God is holy. He does not compromise His standards. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Unholy and unrighteousness cannot see the Lord. From our Bible reading today, here’s how Apostle Paul writes to Timothy, “Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” (2 Timothy 2:19). Revival involves restoration of holiness and righteousness in our lives because without holiness we cannot see the Lord. Dear friends, check your desires. What are you longing for? Is it lust of the flesh, pride of life and works of the flesh? God can revive you so that you can worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Daily Confession: Lord I pray for your revival in my life. Restore my desire to seek you in holiness and righteousness in Jesus name.

 Intercessory Prayer: Pray for someone today.

Hymn: Oh, how praying rests the weary!

Pray’r will change the night to day;

So when life seems dark and dreary,
