A Prayer for Children
All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13
Bible Reading: Matthew 19:13-15
Dear Lord, I thank you for the children whom you have given to me to be a custodian of. I thank you for God-fearing, smart and kind children. I thank you Lord for my children’s development into adulthood that you are with them in every stage as they grow. I pray Lord that my children will come to know you early in life and they will serve you until the end of their days. As a parent, help me to model the right examples to my children, in godliness, love and patience. Help me to make the right decisions that will help my children fulfill their God-given destinies. Father, please help my children to be united in love and understanding, make my children worthy examples to their peers.
I decree that my children shall be taught of God and they shall have great peace. I decree that me and my household are for signs and wonders and my children excel in all areas of their lives. I decree that my children’s future is secured in Christ Jesus and no devil is permitted to have a hold over my children. I decree that my children are obedient to me as their parent, and they are obedient to their teachers and authorities. I dissociate my children from every negative influence, bad friends and evil advisers. I decree that my children are the light of the world, a city set on a hill and their glory cannot be hidden. I decree that my children are protected by God from all evil. I decree that my children hear God’s voice and they follow His commands all the days of their life.
I decree that God rules and reigns in the heart of my children. I decree that gratitude unto God be a lifestyle for my children at all times in Jesus name.
