Accessing Divine Secrets

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3 [KJV]

Have you ever seen where God promised a thing but refused to bring it to pass? God is not a man that He should lie neither the son of man that He should repent (Numbers 23:19). I love open invitation and I have had some couple of them. Any time I have such an open invitation for instance during my birthday, I use it diligently. God has given us an open invitation to seek Him that we may know Him, and know His mind about our lives. We cannot afford to live life without being led by Him or without knowing His plan and purpose. This is because as many that are led by the Spirit of God are called sons of God (Romans 8:14). The truth you know will guide and guard you in the journey of life. While Jesus Christ was on earth, He had access to secrets of men and this preserved His life (John 2:24-25) Also, being led by God will deliver us from the wickedness that dominates the present world. In fact, God’s leading preserves. Every Christian can know the mind of God, gain access to His most treasured secrets about our lives and even the world if we can pay the price. How do we access God’s divine secret? From our reading today, we are to call unto God. We need to diligently seek and know God reverently (Psalms 25:14). It is ironic that many want to gain access to divine secret but they are not ready to know the One that holds the secret. The first entry point is accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. As we abide in God through His word, we are enlightened.

Furthermore, as we daily seek God’s face, with consistency in our daily devotion unto God, in our quiet time and family altar and fellowship with other brethren, God gives us access to divine secrets that pertain to our lives. It is someone who is precious to us and we can trust that we reveal secrets. This is because we are precious to God that is why He wants us to draw closer to Him daily. As we yield to His leading, our lives are being guided, directed and preserved.Dear friends, let’s hold on to His promise and seek Him in order to access the divine secrets that are important to life and destiny. Remember that the Spirit of God reveals even the deep things of God so cultivate a sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit as you worship and seek God (1 Corinthians 2:9-11). Always remember “the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 29:29).

Daily Confession: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places. [Ephesians 1:17-20].
