After the Marathon, What Next? (V)
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8, NIV)
Bible Reading: Isaiah 40:29-31
The strength you have received is to renew and reinvigorate you so that you can seek God wholeheartedly. This is why the Bible says, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV). The fire that has been rekindled is to keep you vibrant and alive for God’s glory. Dear friends, I encourage you to continue praying and rejoicing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17).;15 Do not stop asking (Matthew 7:7-12), and don’t take a break from studying and meditating on God’s word (2 Timothy 2:15; Joshua 1:8). Give sacrificially, willingly and cheerfully as the Lord gives you the grace (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Preach God’s word in and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2). Continue evangelizing and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). Focus on Jesus and on growth. “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified” (Acts 20:32).
Daily Confession: I continue to seek the Lord with the whole of my life in Jesus’ name.
Intercessory prayer: I pray for spiritual stamina and wisdom for living for every Christian in my sphere of influence in Jesus’ name.

Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
