Concluding Words

This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah Psalm 24:6

Bible Reading: Psalm 15

Let’s recap what we have discussed in our reflection on psalm 24. God is the creator of all things. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. He is your heavenly Father and He’s got your back. God desires that we worship Him in spirit and in truth with clean hands and pure hearts because God’s standard of righteousness and holiness cannot be compromised. Our Bible reading today elaborates on what it means to have clean hands and a pure heart. It means a blameless walk, truthful talks and a righteous lifestyle. Here’s how the psalmist puts it: ‘The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbour and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person, but honour those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken’ (Psalm 15:2-5). May our generation be a generation of God’s chasers and God-seekers.

Daily Confession: I have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Lord help me that my light will shine for the world to see and give glory to my heavenly Father in Jesus’ name.

Intercessory prayer: May our generation be a generation of God’s chasers and God-seekers.

Hymn: Let others see Jesus in you,

Let others see Jesus in you.

Keep telling the story, be faithful and true;

Let others see Jesus in you.
