Do Not Be Discouraged (III)

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)

Bible Reading: Exodus 2

God had a plan all along even if it was not obvious to the Israelites. Amidst the lower story, God was writing the upper story. He saved Moses from being killed and miraculously orchestrated Moses’ upbringing into Pharoah’s palace. Moses had a sense of his purpose but went about it the wrong way which made him fled Egypt. It was during his sojourn that God encountered him and gave him the blue print for the deliverance of God’s people. Also, God used the journey for Moses’ growth. For instance, he learnt how to be a true shepherd. Moses knew all along that he was made for something more. He was discontent with the hardship and cruel experience the Israelites received from the hands of the Egyptians, he longed for a change, and God used Moses for the total transformation. Dear friends, that desire or idea for positive impact you have been nurturing is God given. The vision is for an appointed time, do not be discouraged, rather focus on growth and at the right time, the vision will be fulfilled.

Daily Confession: Lord open my eyes to the truth of your word in Jesus.

Intercessory prayer: We pray for healing, grace and deliverance for individuals passing through hard and difficult times in Jesus name.
