Focus on Jesus

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2, KJV

Bible Reading: Hebrews 12:1-3

Don’t pursue spiritual encounters, pursue Jesus. Build your relationship with Jesus, love Him and break your alabaster box at His feet. Focus on Jesus wholeheartedly and you will experience growth in your life. This is Apostle Paul’s admonition in our Bible text today. To look unto Jesus is to give our attention and devotion to Him, who is the author and finisher of our faith. It means we seek and love Him daily. Dear friends, spiritual encounters are not a sign of spiritual maturity and you can’t build your life on them. Rather spend time in God’s word, pray without ceasing and obey Him. May you have a fresh and personal revelation of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Daily Confession: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death, if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Philippians 3:9-10

Intercessory prayer: I pray for God to strengthen His church, encourage the ministers and help the members in this season in Jesus name.
