God is More.

Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. 1 Chronicles 29:11

Bible Passage: Isaiah 40:18-28

God is great, He is immortal, invisible, the only wise God. He is the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent God. Today’s memory verse describes God as the only source of all power, glory, victory and majesty. God is indescribable, bigger than we can ever imagine. Prophet Isaiah tried to describe God in Isaiah 40 and he started in verse 18 by saying “To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?” Many people have tried to describe God based on how He has revealed Himself to them, but God is more than what our human mind can fathom. He is indescribable and we cannot explain Him.

During worship in church today, as the choir were singing a popular song by Sinach, “Way maker, miracle worker, Promise keeper, Light in the darkness, my God that is who you are”, God ministered to my heart that He is actually more than those words we are describing. Have you thought of the meaning of those words? God is the one who makes a way where there seems to be no way, He has all power, honour and majesty. He is great. Dear friend, I enjoin you to worship with understanding each time you worship God, pay attention to those words you are saying while you worship. That way, you will catch a glimpse of God and I can guarantee that you will have an encounter with God by doing that.

Daily Confession: I worship God in spirit and in truth in Jesus name.

Intercessory Prayer: Prophesy into the new month of February 2021.

Action Point: God seeks for those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Hymn: ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord!”
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!
