God Makes Everything Right (III)

‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.’ Romans 8:28 [NKJV]

Your situation is not beyond God. If God could make everything right with humanity by reconciling us to Himself in Jesus Christ, then what is your situation that He cannot handle?

I have heard some people say that have made a mess of their lives and they do not think God can fix them. My response is this: if you can only give God your life, you will be surprised at what God will make of it because He is your Creator. Think about Zacchaeus in our reading today. He was a corrupt man; a tax collector who was deceptive and selfish. When he met Jesus, he got saved and his life was transformed.

God will attend to you only if you reach out to him because God does not show favoritism (Acts 10:34). When Zacchaeus met Jesus, his heart was filled with unspeakable joy and Jesus went with Zacchaeus to his house. What about Apostle Paul who persecuted Christians? God met him and changed the course of his life. In fact, the Bible is full of stories of individuals and people who were nothing before God intervened in their lives. Dear friends, God is still in the business of making things right if you can handover your life to Him.

Daily Confession: Lord Jesus, I ask that you come into my life and abide with me forever.

Intercessory prayer: Pray for the homeless in your community that God will meet their needs.
