Messy but Beautiful (VII)

Bible Reading: Mark 10:46–52

I would like to end this series by making a bold declaration that whatever the mess maybe, God will make something beautiful out of it for His glory. Did you know that it is only in God that turnyour mistake into something useful for His glory? All things work together for good for those that love God and are called according to His will (Romans 8:28). God is not a task master; He is a loving Father who cares for us beyond our imagination. In fact, God is an expert in turning messy situation and messy people into beauty for His glory.

The blind Bartimaeus out of his messy situation called unto Jesus when he realized Jesus was passing by. Bartimaeus’ sight was restored. Although in his blindness, he had a possibility mindset, and he knew who has the power to produce his miracle. He looked at his situation differently – as a situation that Jesus could handle. And Jesus showed forth in blind Bartimaeus’s situation. His possibility mindset influenced his attitude. In fact, when others tried to silence him, he shouted more because he knew that his response to the situation was important. Dear friends, your mindset and attitude are important because you have to cooperate with Jesus. I have seen Jesus turning lives of drug addicts around for the best. A friend shared with me how God encountered his life while he was in prison and God brought orderliness again. This person is now out of prison and has become a witness for Christ. God’s faithfulness is true and even that situation that looks unbearable or irredeemable, I want you to know that God is at work. Dear friends, look unto Jesus and let your faith anchor on Him. I encourage you to add patience to your faith because God’s grace and mercy will find you in that situation in Jesus name.

Daily Confession:  God, I thank you for your faithfulness to heal and make whole. Turn every mess in our lives into beauty for your glory in Jesus name, Amen.

Intercessory prayer: Intercede for those dealing with mental health issues that they will come to know the love of God. Pray for parents who are trusting God for the salvation of their childrenthat God’s saving grace will find them.
