Organized Vanity

Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun. Eccl. 2:11 (NIV)

Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 2

If you want to know about the vanity of life, read the book of Ecclesiastes. The book contains wisdom and insight into the life of someone without Jesus. After reading the book, I believe you will think more about the vanity of everything. The preacher‚ as the writer is being referred to used his life experience as the basis of book. King Solomon, known as the richest king on earth revealed all that he did throughout his entire life and realized that all is simply vanity.

If you have attended funeral services like me, the reality of vanity will stare at your face. All that we have worked for will be left behind and people we never knew will do anything they want. No wonder the psalmist says that, what is man that you are mindful of him?

Knowing that life is vanity, there is a need to make eternity count. Knowing Jesus who is the ultimate wisdom of God, and following Him is the key. At KSi, we desire that while you live here on earth, you can make your eternity count with Jesus.
