Prayer is the Key (III)

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24, KJV

Bible Reading: Matthew 7:7-9

Prayer is a means to communicate with God. God is interested in hearing from and speaking to us. Communication is important to the survival of any kind of relationship. If there’s no communication, an effective communication for that matter, it’s a matter of time, that relationship will die. God wants us to commune and communicate with Him through prayer at all times. Pray in the spirit. Pray when you are happy. Pray when you are sad. Pray when you are busy. Pray when you are less busy. Prayer about everything and pray when you have nothing to ask. We have to understand prayer as a way of life not a task, a chore or an activity. Dear friends, prayer is a way to fellowship and be in communion with the Lord. Let’s take prayer as a way of life and as our duty. We pray because we believe.

Action Point: Spend one hour praying for various things in your life today.

Daily Confession: I receive grace for supplication in Jesus name.

Intercessory prayer: I pray for renewal of faith and hope for anyone who may have given up on life and on faith.

Hymn: Oh, how praying rests the weary!

Prayer will change the night to day.

So, when life gets dark and dreary,
