Revive Us Lord (I)

O God, You are my God; with deepest longing I will seek You; My soul [my life, my very self] thirsts for You, my flesh longs and sighs for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1, AMP

Bible Reading: Isaiah 44:3-4

God revives and restores. No matter how cold you may be in the spirit, God can release His fresh fire upon you. There cannot be a congregational revival without personal revivals. Individuals must be revived first. There has to be a desperate pursuit of God for our lives. Like the Psalmist, we have to seek God truthfully and passionately. We have to ask for a restoration of our first love. A return to our love for God (Revelation 2:4-5). Dear friends, God is not interested in your lukewarmness. Your loss of passion and  enthusiasm for the word of God, prayer, evangelism and even church attendance are signs that you need God to revive you. Call unto the Lord today and you will see Him pour water upon the dry ground.

Daily Confession: Lord I pray for your revival in my life. Restore my love for you God in Jesus name.

 Intercessory Prayer: Pray for someone today.
