Stay In There… (II)
Therefore seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
Bible Reading: Isaiah 40:29-31
Many individuals in the Bible who God used had to learn to stay and tarry in God’s presence. For example, the book of Psalm is compilation of poems, revelations, testimonials and instructions that came our of intimacy with God. The book of Acts of the Apostle is another example because every act of the Apostles came out of Jesus’ instruction to wait for the Promise of the Father, that is, the Holy Spirit. In fact, every breakthrough/miracle in the Bible came because someone chose to wait. Dear friends, I encourage you to learn to wait upon the Lord. It’s a life style we have to consciously learn. Don’t be in a hurry to leave God’s presence but deliberately choose to abide in God and your life will never remain the same again.
Action Point: Spend extra time seeking the Lord today.
Intercessory prayer: Pray for the authorities piloting the affairs of children’s schools (such as school boards, school districts etc) for righteousness to prevail. Pray for wisdom to make godly decisions so that your children can be trained rightly.
Hymn: Wait for the Lord, whose day is near.
Wait for the Lord: be strong, take heart!
