The Power of the Gospel

 I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16, AMP

Bible Reading: 

The Gospel is powerful. It’s power is remarkable because it is God’s power. It is God’s abundant love for His treasured creation, made in His image and in His likeness. Through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, eternal condemnation is changed to eternal commendation, death to life, darkness to light, hopelessness to hopefulness, and chaos to peace. No wonder Apostle Paul is not ashamed of this life-changing and life-giving experience. He preached the gospel everywhere and through His ministry, nations were transformed.

Dear friends, God’s word is real and we have been called to preach the gospel (Romans 10). I encourage you to share your faith with others— family and friends, colleagues, neighbours and even strangers. Receive courage and boldness to speak God’s executive salvation plan for humankind.

Daily Confession: Lord I give myself unto You. I lay it all at your feet for the glory and the honour of your name. Amen

Intercessory Prayer: I pray for God’s provision and protection over families during this season.
