The Resurrection Power (II)
Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” (Acts 3:6)
Bible Reading: Acts 3:1-11
God’s power never fails. The resurrection power is still alive and evident in our lives. I bring good news to a user of this devotional who is in need of divine intervention, there is hope because when Jesus steps into any situation, the situation changes for the best. Ask Jairus, whose daughter was restored to life by Jesus (Mark 5:21-24). What about the woman with the issue of blood? (Luke 8:43-48). The power of God is active, and we can ask Jesus to show forth His power in our lives. In our Bible reading today, Peter and John were going to the temple at the hour of prayer, and the resurrection power healed the lame man at the Beautiful gate. The lame man was expecting some alms to be given to him, but something else happened: “Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. (Acts 3:5-7). Dear friends, the resurrection power is still at work today, and it can be evident in your life if you believe in Jesus Christ.
Daily Confession: I pray for God’s resurrection power to manifest over the situation in my life in Jesus’ name.
Intercessory prayer: Let the resurrection power be evident in our churches in the name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for revival over my city in Jesus’ name.
Hymn: He’s alive (x2)
Halleluyah
Jesus is alive.
