There is Power in the Name of Jesus

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11 (NKJV)

Bible Reading: Philippians 2:9-11

The name of Jesus Christ is all efficient, sufficient and eternal. Jesus’ name has eternal value, has capacity to save, and preserve for eternity. No wonder anyone who believes in Him will have everlasting life because the purpose of Jesus Christ is to save the world from her perdition. (John 3:16, Matthew 1:22).

Also, at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee must bow in heaven and on earth yield because He has power over them all. In the name of Jesus, the sicks are healed, the blind see, the deaf hear, lame walk, and all sicknesses and diseases vanish. The Bible has faith–driven stories and show miraculous events recorded in the time past that proved that the name of Jesus is all-powerful. For instance, the miracle at creation, the parting of the red sea, the turning of water to wine, the restoration of life to the widow’s son, and ultimately the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Presently, there are living testimonies that showcase the name of Jesus. In fact, my life is a living testimony of the power that is in the name of Jesus.

Today, I will like to encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus wherever you are and regardless of the situation you are passing through. Just like the blind Bartholomew who cried when he realized Jesus was passing by, call upon God today and your life will never be the same again because Jesus never fails.
