Transformed Heart
No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people. Romans 2:29 NLT
Bible Reading: Luke 15:12-32
“Change my God, make it ever true; change my God, may I be like You’. That’s the heart cry of a singer expressed in a song. A transformed heart has been circumcised and has encountered fresh fire from God. A transformed heart is right with God through God’s word and the Holy Spirit. This is my desire daily!
The prodigal son was unable to have a changed heart until he came to his father for repentance. The psalmist says, who can ascend the hill of the Lord? A man with a pure heart and a clean hand. This is the beginning of transformation. Recognizing our sinful state and embracing the unmatchable grace Jesus Christ has freely given us. Dear friends, I invite you to ask of the Lord for a fresh encounter today, and deeper revelation of Him. If you are yet to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, today is another opportunity. Like the prodigal son, open your heart to the Father to experience transformation that only Him can give.
Daily Confession: I receive God’s steadfast love in Jesus name.
Intercessory Prayer: I pray for God’s peace across the world in Jesus name.
Hymn: Take my life and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to thee.
take my moments and my days;
let them flow in endless praise,
let them flow in endless praise.
