With God… (III)

For by You I can crush a troop, And by my God I can leap over a wall. Psalm 18:29 AMP

Bible Reading: Daniel 11:32

Do you know your God? To know something or someone is to develop a relationship with that thing or person. To know God means to develop a relationship with Him to the point that you can attest that you know God. It means to be in communion with Him. To have not only a head knowledge but an experiential knowledge of who He is. It also means having a deeper insight into what He likes and dislikes. Our Bible reading today is the truth that comes from the lived experience of one of the fathers of faith, Daniel. Daniel knew the Lord. He sought the Lord and followed Him continually. Daniel had access to revelations, wisdom that comes God and He was relevant in five administrations. He faced different trials an tribulations, yet He held fast to God. He was the only one in the Bible who was fed to lions and returned alive. He advised kings and interceded for his country, Israel for their captivity to come to an end. Daniel couldn’t have achieved any of these without knowing God. Dear friends, here’s the point: You can crush a troop and leap over a wall only by God that you know. Thus, do you know God? How do you know God? It starts by giving your life to Jesus Christ because He died for your seeks and redeemed you. Be in communion with Him daily by reading God’s word, praying, and obeying Him.

Action Point: Make a list of the things you need to and ask the Lord for strength and grace.

Intercessory Prayer: As many resume schools across the world in this season, we pray for your blessings, protection and provision in Jesus name.

Hymn: I surrender all,

I surrender all,

Unto Thee my blessed Saviour,

I surrender all.
