Your Way, Not Mine II
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12, NIV)
Bible Reading: Exodus 33
“Jesus is the way, truth and life,” and whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life (John 14:6; John 3:16). To insist on God’s way is to acknowledge Jesus. It means absolute submission to Him. It requires a desire to know Him and seek His ways. In our Bible reading today, Moses requested God’s way. (Psalm 103:7). Also, when we choose God’s way, we have to deliberately seek to know his way. Did you know we can know God through His word? Dear friends, our pursuit of Jesus starts with his word. Everything we need is in God’s word. For instance, the Psalmist queries: “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word” (Psalm 119:9). I encourage you to choose the way of the Lord for the way of the Lord is the way of salvation, liberty and righteousness.
Daily Confession: I choose the way of the Lord
Intercessory prayer: Pray for teachers, school administrators, and everyone involved in raising the next generation.
Hymn: Take my life and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to thee.
Take my moments and my days;
let them flow in endless praise,
let them flow in endless praise
